Overview
Resolve completed the deactivation and decommissioning of compressor stations, wellsites, and pipelines. The scope included pigging and purging pipelines, removing fluids from the facilities, and full removal of surface and subsurface infrastructure from the sites. On-site challenges included coordinating work with well-abandonment and remediation contractors so the work could be completed safely and efficiently.
Key results
- Supervision of 14–24 personnel over 28,000 hours and 92 days with no incidents.
- Efficient management of 12 service vendors to deliver the scope of work.
- On-time completion of all items in the project scope.
A key to success was the deployment and operation of Resolve-owned assets — including a 350-series excavator, tri-drive combo unit, powerhead attachment, skid steer for internal pipe cutting, dump trailers, air compressors, and crew trucks with pickers. Rental excavators were used only when concurrent tasks stretched resources.
